Local Transport
Rome’s underground railway system has two lines: the red line ( Linea A) that goes from Anagnina (in the north-east) to Battistini (in the west) and the blue line (Line B) that goes from Laurentina (in the south-west ) to Rebibbia (in the north-east). The two lines cross at Termini Station.
The “Metrebus” ticket costs 1 Euro and it can be used on buses, trains, undergrounds and local trains that go to the suburbs of Rome (Zona A).
A ticket lasts 75 minutes. You can take as many buses as you like within the given time. It allows you to go everywhere in Rome and you may use it for only one trip on the underground.Weekly ticketss are available.
The subway passes every few minutes from 5:30 to 23:30(on Saturdays till 24:30).
